Projection of the Cross-Ambiguity Function

Signal Lab's Projection capability yields the Radon Transformation of the of the Cross-Ambiguity Function (CAF), in a computationally efficient manner.  Where the Radon Transform first requires the computation of the CAF, which is an Order N2LOG2(N) process, Signal Lab's Projections reduce the total computational requirements to an Order NLOG2(N) process. 

Signal Labs' Projections enable quick identification of target peaks within the
CAF.   Projections of the CAF can be performed at any angle.  The projection angle is typically matched to the specific Radar waveform utilized for optimal detection performance.  As an example, a projection of the CAF onto the Doppler axis (angle = PI/2)  is shown in Figure 1 below.
