What is the
SRD advantage?
Simultaneous
Range-Doppler (SRD)
radar technology enables
the identification of peaks in the Cross-Ambiguity Function (CAF) while
foregoing the need to compute all the data points in this three
dimensional
space.
Specifically, SRD
technology
enables the following
capabilities:
- Simultaneous unambiguous Range
and Doppler measurements from a single Radar pulse
- Doppler Shift
tolerant processing - processing load does not increase with faster
targets or higher operational frequencies
- Longer waveforms -
for reduced peak power or increased detection range
- Reduced False Track

- Sequential Detection
- increased detection sensitivity and reduced false track while meeting
Pd and Pfa requirements.
