High Performance Radar Detection and Tracking by
Simultaneous Range-Doppler (SRD) Receiver

Modern battleground environments impose challenging requirements on the performance of radar signal processors.  Signal Labs' breakthrough technology, the Simultaneous Range-Doppler Receiver, sets a new standard for detection and tracking performance of a wide range of radar systems including track-while-scan and phased array radars.  By implementing Signal Labs' novel processing technique, for each transmitted radar pulse the SRD Receiver accurately and efficiently detects the unambiguous range and unambiguous Doppler velocity of targets.  By acquiring single-pulse, simultaneous unambiguous range and Doppler velocity measurements, the SRD Receiver avoids the Range/Doppler Ambiguity Trade-Offs associated with Coherent Pulse Integration techniques and achieves increased detection sensitivity and accelerated track initiation while reducing false detections and false tracks.
