Detection and
Identification of FMCW Signals and Phase Modulated Pulses by ESM
Processor
Real-Time
detection and identification of threat signals is of primary
importance in modern electronic warfare. Although conventional ESM
systems have acceptable performance in detection and identification
of narrowband pulse trains, their performance degrades sharply in
detection of Frequency Modulated Continuous-Wave (FMCW) signals and
wideband phased-modulated pulses. Signal Labs' novel detection technology is implemented
in the ESM Processor to provide the best
results in detection of both the FMCW signals and wideband pulses.
Since the ESM Processor can conduct task at very low
signal-to-noise ratios, the most elusive threat signals can be
identified reliably making it possible to take appropriate measures
against them.
